Pokemon cards sold very well, again.

The Pokemon Company has released their worldwide sales data for fiscal year 2021/2022 (as of March 31, 2022), and they have sold 9.1 billion Pokemon cards, for a lifetime total of over 43.2 billion cards. It's the Pokemon Trading Card Game's most successful year in the last six years. Last year was their 25th anniversary, which may have boosted sales.

When compared to last year's financial results (which were also the best year in the preceding six years) of 3.7 billion cards, the sales difference (an increase of 5.4 billion cards) is 146 percent. In addition, the number of card  sales has increased by 27%, from 34.1 billion to 43.2 billion.

That is good for 21.29% of their lifetime sales sold in their fiscal year of 2021/2022.
