Play! Pokémon Prize Packs Featuring Exclusive Promos Are Coming to Local Pokémon Leagues

In-store events are back, and Prize Packs are coming to Play! Pokémon retail locations all around the world. 

While supplies last, promotional Prize Packs are now being sent to Qualified Play! Pokémon stores to support in-store Play! Pokémon events including Leagues, League Challenges, League Cups, and more. 

Trainers will have more to enjoy than ever before with these brand-new Prize Packs, which will take the place of the Play! Pokémon promos that were previously given out by local game stores at Play! Pokémon events.

Each Prize Pack comprises six cards, selected from a pool of 200 or more, all of which are legal in the Standard format and feature the unique Play! Pokémon logo, from well-known Pokémon to special foil upgrades of tournament staples. Here are just a few of the things you can look forward to in Series One:

• Pokémon that are popular with fans, like as Charizard VMAX, Rayquaza VMAX, and Pikachu VMAX
• Exclusive foil variations of cards like Scoop Up Net and Path to the Peak, which are tournament staples
• Powerhouse Pokémon like Oranguru and Snorlax have unique non-foil variants.
• Basic Energy cards are available in foil and non-foil.

According to Pokemon, Prize Pack Series One will have a limited duration to catch up with their recent break from in-store events, with a new series dropping every six months starting in February. You can expect Series Two in February 2023, Series Three in August 2023, Series Four in February 2024, and so on.
