Amazing talent!
The final winners of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest 2024 have been officially announced.
Kazuki Minami from Japan won the Grand Prize for their Pikachu artwork. The Best Standard Card Illustration was awarded to Acorviart from the U.S. for their depiction of Feraligatr, and Anderson from Japan received the Best EX Card Illustration award for their Toxtricity EX artwork. All three artists were also presented with trophies.
These winners were selected from a pool of 10,830 submissions. The contest theme was centered around capturing “Magical Pokémon Moments.”

The Grand Prize winner and Best Standard Card Illustration/Best ex Card Illustration will get $5,000 and $3,000 in cash, respectively, and their entries will be featured on future Pokémon TCG promo cards.
6 First Runners-Up will receive a cash value of $1,000 and 15 Judges’ Award winners recieve $500, respectively.
Currently not known how they will distribute the Grand Prize Winner & First Runner-Up promo cards, this info will be made available later.

Original Story
Creatures has revealed the Top 100 entries in the second round of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest 2024. The final results will be announced on the contest’s official website in September 2024, with the exact date to be confirmed later.
In addition to the online announcement, The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) has shared on pokemon.com that the top 100 artists' works will be showcased at a special location. Attendees of the 2024 Pokémon World Championships in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, will have the chance to view the impressive artwork in person at the Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest 2024 Gallery. More details of this will be available at the official Worlds website.
