Pokemon Card Game x BEAMS collaboration project announced

Our good friend ToineLay has spotted an English version of the Pikachu GX BEAMS promo. This was shown in the Pokemon Center stores at the Pokémon x BEAMS section.

The card was displayed on a store display. Currently there is no information or confirmation this card will release outside of Japan. But considering there is an English version out there, it's almost obvious they have plans for a future release of this exclusive Pikachu GX card.

Pokemon Card Game has announced a collaboration project with Japanese clothing brand BEAMS. A Pokemon Card Game merchandise line will be released on August 3, 2019 at BEAMS stores and August 6 at Pokemon Centers. People who spend over 2400 yen at the BEAMS store in Harajuku, Tokyo and Pokémon Center (Online) stores, will get this exclusive BEAMS stamped Pikachu GX promo card. While supplies last.

A new original exclusive BEAMS stamped Pikachu GX promo card has also been revealed during this collaboration. This Pikachu GX BEAMS promo is card specifically made for this collaboration project. It's is a new card.

Along this Pikachu GX promo, there is also a whole line of merchanise and clothing announced. Including 2 playmats with the design in the thumbnail.

For adults, there are only 3 shirt designs announced. The rest are all for kids only (check the album below). These are based on existing GX cards.

BEAMS gives 2 promo's per person for each purchase of 2400 yen. Pokemon Centers gives 1 promo per person. All while supplies last.

Pikachu GX (393/SM-P Promo)

Move 1: Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of your opponent's attacks, including damage, done to this Pokémon during your opponent's next turn.

Move 2: This Pokémon does 30 damage to itself.

Move 3: Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Paralyzed.
