SM12a Tag All Stars and SM12 Alter Genesis Are Getting Reprinted, Free Full Art Supporter Promo Card Box Purchase for S5 Single Strike / Rapid Strike Master Coming

Did you expect it? The last two GX sets SM12a Tag All Stars is and SM12 Alter Genesis are being sold again to Japanese card shops.

This is called the "GX Reboot Campaign" and according to ToineLay, that translated this, customers who purchase 1 box at participating card shops, will get a special limited promo card of each respective set.

We don't know how large these quantities are, but it seems that you can buy these two sets at retail price again when this campaign starts.

Already existing booster boxes that are currently available in card shops of respectively both sets from before this campaign, are not eligible for this promotion. That may have explained the reason why Japanese Card Shops were trying to get rid of both sets recently. Learn more of the promotion details below.

Update 6-11-2020: The GX Reboot Campaign Promo cards of Cherish Ball and Arceus & Dialga & Palkia GX have been revealed. No new artwork, just a set stamp on there. 

Starting from December 4, 2020:

• If you purchase 1 Box (30 packs) of SM12 Alter Genesis, you will be given a Promo version of Arceus & Dialga & Palkia GX.
• If you purchase 1 Box (10 packs) of SM12a Tag All Stars, you will be given a Promo version of Cherish Ball.

Also for the upcoming S5I / S5R Sword & Shield - Single Strike Master / Rapid Strike Master set (featuring Urshifu), a limited Full Art / SR Supporter will be given out for free when this set releases if you buy any 2 boxes of this set. The SR promo card has yet to be announced.

Starting from January 22, 2021:

• If you purchase (any) 2 Boxes (60 packs) of S5I / S5R Single Strike Master / Rapid Strike Master, you will be given a SR Supporter card.
