Set Artwork
Charizard V & Charizard VSTAR have been revealed, along with Moltres and new Trainer cards named Cheren's Care (which has the effect of Burning Shadows Acerola, but for Colorless Pokemon), Kindler, Magma Basin and Double Turbo Energy. Arceus VSTAR was revealed 2 weeks ago and we have covered that card along with the VSTAR mechanic here.
Like we mentioned before, VSTAR cards are likely to replace VMAX cards. These cards have the same RRR (Triple Rare) rarity and are textured. VSTAR cards evolve from Pokemon V cards. VSTAR Power is a once per game mechanic like the GX Moves we know. Worth noting: Nothing says VSTAR Power has to be an Ability. It also gives up 2 Prize cards when Knocked Out.
The English SWSH9 set (which is as of now, yet not revealed, but teased with Arceus VSTAR) will have 172 cards in it's main set.
Also the Premium Trainer Box VSTAR has been revealed, this product costs 6050 yen and releases on the day the set releases.
Also comes with a VSTAR Marker and includes many trainer and staple cards such as 2 copies each of Mew, Ultra Ball, Quick Ball, Level Ball, Path to the Peak and Air Balloon.
Stay tuned for more news about this set in the future!
