We have made a Holiday Gift guide with a selection of our recommendations including our top picks. On top of that, we have set different budgets so we will recommend what's the best gift to pick on each budget.

Budget - $10-15
If you are on a tight budget but still want to gift Pokemon cards, we usually recommend something that has a foil card guaranteed.
Three-Booster Blisters and Checklane Blisters of any regular set usually come with 1 foil promo card which is ideal since 1 booster pack won't guarantee you getting a holo card or better. Also these blisters come with a coin so these make for excellent value products to gift that won't break the bank! We recommend getting the latest set if you don't know what the person specifically wants or likes.
If someone wants to actually play and learn the game, or already plays the Pokemon TCG Online version but needs a new real basic deck to build upon with, we recommend getting a V Battle Deck which includes a ready to play 60 card deck, all accessories to play with and 1 guaranteed V card! This fits exactly within the $15 range. These also come as a bundled 2-player version which costs double the price. The V Battle Decks does not come with booster packs!
Celebrations in this price range? Yes! Celebrations is still widely available at MSRP and there are budget-friendly options available for the celebratory 25th Anniversary set. The Celebrations Collection - Dragapult Prime is available for $14.99 MSRP and has excellent value. It has everything we want to see for $14.99. It has 1 foil promo card of Dragapult Prime and 1 foil oversized version of the aforementioned promo, it includes 2 Celebrations four-card booster packs, 1 regular Pokemon TCG booster pack, a 4-pocket binder to store your cards in and lastly 1 anniversary-themed coin.
Lastly there are the Poke Ball Tins. These are Tin versions of Poke Balls and come in various colours (Ultra Ball, Level Ball, Ultra Ball, Premier Ball and etc.), include 3 booster packs and 1 coin. For $12.99 MSRP, you get excellent value. The only catch is that the selection of booster packs are somewhat random and often include older sets. If you want to gift a specific set to someone, you should avoid this product.

We think $25 is the sweet spot for Pokemon TCG gifts, there are alot of products available in this price range, let's start with Celebrations. We have selected 3 products from the available Celebrations products.
First is the Celebrations Deluxe Pin Collection which comes with an adorable spinning Flying/Surfing Pikachu enamel pin! Paired with a foil Zacian Lv.X promo, 4 Celebrations booster packs and 4 regular Pokemon TCG booster packs, we believe this is has great value for $19.99 MSRP.
For the Charizard or Sylveon fans we have the Celebrations Collections—Lance’s Charizard V and Dark Sylveon V for $19.99 MSRP. We think the product speaks for itself. It includes 1 foil promo card of Lance’s Charizard V or Dark Sylveon V and 1 oversized card the aforementioned promos, 4 Celebrations booster packs and 2 regular Pokemon TCG booster packs. We recommend this product because for the smaller ones (children), this product appears very large to them, large presents are always better!
And the final Celebrations product in this price range we end it with the Celebrations Collector Chest for $5 more. If you care about alot of stuff for the money, here comes the list: 6 Celebrations booster packs, 2 regular Pokemon TCG booster packs, 3 foil promo cards featuring Mimikyu δ (Delta Species), Light Toxtricity, and Hydreigon C, 4 colorful sticker sheets, a mini portfolio to store cards and lastly a Pokemon coin,
If you look at the product image we think this is the best bang for buck gift. And the smaller ones (or even grown-ups!) can re-use the tin as a Lunch Tin!
Is the person you want to gift something an Eeveelution fan? Well that choice is made quickly with the Eevee Evolutions Tin. Tins like these have been around for ages and are ideal gifts. You get 4 Pokemon TCG Booster packs and includes 1 of 3 foil cards featuring Vaporeon V, Jolteon V, or Flareon V!
Lastly we will recommend the award-winning Pokemon TCG Battle Academy. The Battle Academy product line is a board game version of the Pokemon TCG, it's meant for casual play and will teach you the very basics of the Pokemon TCG. The value is amazing for $19.99 MSRP. This box comes with a two-player game board, three 60-card decks, tutorial guides, and gameplay accessories.
This product has released over 1 year ago, but it should be still widely available. We think the Battle Academy is the ideal gift at this price range for people that want to play Pokemon TCG for the first time or casually on a cozy holiday night with family & friends! The Battle Academy does not come with booster packs!

Eevee Evolutions Tin (Fall 2021) - $19.99
Pokemon TCG Battle Academy - $19.99

We are now entering the territory when people might want to maximize their value and expecting more and bigger things for gifts.
Just like we mentioned with the Celebrations Collections - Lance’s Charizard V and Dark Sylveon V boxes, we recommend the Celebrations Special Collection - Pikachu V-UNION because for the smaller ones (children), this product appears very large to them, large presents are always better! This box is even slightly larger so these must be gigantic to the smaller ones! It also includes very promos that form 1 big card together that consists of 25 different Pikachu!
If the person is already familiar with playing Pokemon TCG, we think the Single Strike / Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX League Battle Deck is the product to pick. This deck includes cards that are on competitive level and with the right amount of tweaking, it's competitive ready. Also speaking of competitive play, the Trainer's Toolkit is an excellent choice for starting competitive players to have staple cards. It also includes promos of Crobat V. Only buy these two products if that person is playing the game more seriously or is wanting to begin on a competitive level! The Single Strike / Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX League Battle Deck does not come with booster packs! The Trainer's Toolkit does.
Elite Trainer Boxes are among the most popular Pokemon TCG products. It's the ideal product to gift as it includes 8 Pokemon TCG booster packs, deck sleeves to protect your cards, and a bunch of accessories. The box also serves as a very fancy card storage box!
We highly recommend when available getting the special Celebrations Elite Trainer Box for $10 more. This version includes 10 Celebrations booster packs, five regular Pokemon TCG booster packs and 1 special foil card featuring Greninja ☆. Amazing value, but it's slightly harder to obtain because of it.
We will ask the same question again: Is the person you want to gift something an Eeveelution fan? Well that choice is made quickly with the Vaporeon VMAX / Jolteon VMAX / Flareon VMAX Premium Collection. This product is among the best Pokemon TCG products of 2021. Just look at the artwork of the promo cards included, along with the booster packs in there we think it's well worth the $39.99. It's going to be a difficult product next month to get due to the very high demand, so please keep that in mind.
Lastly a very large Pikachu wants to make some friends. The Celebrations Premium Figure Collection - Pikachu VMAX is one of the most popular Celebrations products. This huge box includes a massive Pikachu Gigantamax figure. Besides that it includes 1 textured foil promo card of Pikachu VMAX (that wants a hug!), one foil promo card of Pikachu V, 8 Celebrations booster packs and 3 regular Pokemon TCG booster packs.
Celebrations Special Collection - Pikachu V-UNION $29.99 - Editor's Pick
Pokemon TCG: Trainer’s Toolkit - $29.99 USD
Elite Trainer Box - $39.99
Celebrations Elite Trainer Box - $49.99
Budget - No Budget
Want to gift a more premium product? Well we have set no limit now on our budget. Let's go a little crazy.
Pikachu & Zekrom GX and Reshiram & Charizard GX are enrobed in gold now and available in a Premium Collection. These boxes are quite popular and just released. These seem to be in demand but if you look closely enough, these should be still available at select stores. You get 10 booster packs but you mainly buy it for the Golden promos!
The Celebrations Ultra-Premium Collection must be one of the hardest products to obtain, we still included it because this is a very premium product, if not the most premium Pokemon TCG product of 2021.
We don't recommend paying over MSRP, however it's sold out everywhere at retail. If your budget is unlimited and someone really wants this specific product, we then recommend getting it at the secondary market at places like eBay (we are not affiliated with them). You will most likely pay double MSRP or more from sellers, but if money is no issue for you, go for it.
Lastly if someone just wants alot of Pokemon TCG booster packs, maybe because this person plays competively or is a collector that just can't get enough of opening booster packs and wants to complete sets, we recommend getting a Booster Display of a set. It includes 36 booster packs and you will get alot of fun out of it.
