Sparkling Pokemon Coming!
The next Japanese set named S9a Battle Region after much speculation, has been revealed. This is the second set of year 3 in the Sword & Shield TCG.
This (sub)set will introduce a new type of card named 'Sparkling Pokemon'.

Garchomp V & Starmie V have been revealed, along with Sparkling Greninja and Sparkling Hawlucha. Lastly the Chandelure line has been revealed.
Sparkling Pokemon are Shiny Pokemon. A Sparkling Pokemon is a Pokemon that has rules, powerful moves and abilities. The rule is that you can only have one of these Sparkling Pokemon cards in your deck, similar to Gold Star cards from the past. Sparkling Pokemon have the 'K' rarity. These cards also appear to be textured.
Note: These cards are not the same as Shining Pokemon cards from Shining Legends, these Sparkling Pokemon are different cards with a different naming and ruling.
